Mac n Nooch ft. Broccoli

This is the perfect cold weather/hungover/bored & wanna eat meal to warm you up without the regret or cheesy acne aftermath. I love cheese, especially when melter over everything, but this doesn’t always sit well with my stomach and usually ends with a few new zits the next morning. I found this to be the cure to my mac n cheese loving taste buds.

What you need:

Pasta (choose your fav kind, it all works)

3 Tbsp. Nutritional Yeast

2 Shakes of Turmeric

1 Shake of Paprika

1 Shake of Chili Flakes

1 1/2 Tbsp. Dijon Mustard

A couple splashes of Almond Milk

Salt & Pepper to taste

What you do:

Boil pasta and add in the broccoli florets a couple minutes before the pasta is ready to be drained. Once the pasta and broccoli are ready, drain and set aside. While the pasta is cooking you can start on the sauce. In a small saucepan on low heat add the nutritional yeast, turmeric, paprika, dijon mustard, chili flakes and salt and pepper. Splash in enough almond milk to make the powder mixture smooth and creamy. Mix until it is at a good consistency and temperature to pour over your pasta. And that’s it! Mix the pasta and sauce together so everything is covered and you are ready to grub a dub dub. Enjoy!

*As always, any veggie can be added or subbed for broccoli. Same with spices, add anything your feelin!

  1. I have a recently diagnosed dairy allergy, so after years of feeling inexplicably squeamish about nooch, you have convinced me to give this a try! Thanks Jess!
